Day 1:
- Knowledge review session with instructor
- Written exam
Day 2:
- Confined water sessions.
You will be lead through 5 confined water sessions conducted in a pool, allowing you to practice the skills presented in the manual.
Day 3: Open water dives 1&2
- Dive 1, your instructor will take you on a reef tour, allowing you to become comfortable with the equipment and underwater environment.
- Dive 2 will consist of another tour and a few of the skills practised in confined water the previous day.
Day 4: Open water dives 3&4

| If you have already completed the pool sessions and written exam with a PADI professional, your checkout dives can then be completed here on the South Coast. ( You must obtain a signed referral form from your PADI instructor to complete thr course) |

| The PADI Advanced Diver Course consist of 5 dives, each focusing on a different aspect of diving such as navigation and deep diving. The remaining dives may be chosen by the student from the Advanced Diver Manual. |

| (This course must accompany a PADI Medic First Aid Course completed prior to your arrival) You will learn the basics of emergency diver rescue including organising a rescue, surface recesitation, and proper techniques for transporting a victim to shore or a boat. |

Upon completion of this course, you will be a PADI professional able to work in the industry either assisting an instructor with classes or guiding certified divers. You will learn extensive dive theory in topics such as physics, physiology, and equipment.
This course gives the knowledge required to seek work in the industry. It is also benificial to those who would simply like to improve their diving proficiency and comfort level. (Because of the training required to complete this course, interested students must have sufficient time on the South Coast. Please feel free to enquire for more information)

- Enriched Air Nitrox - This course will introduce you to the benefits of diving with Nitrox, including longer bottom times and more energy after diving.
- Under Water Naturalist - Focuses on learning the marine life of SA.
- Navigation - This course is for those who wish to increase their navigation skills by using both natural and compass navigation.
- Wreck - Learn skills for navigating a wreck as well as safety considerations when planning a wreck dive.
